L’azienda Agricola Le Palaie
The farm Le Palaie is located in Peccioli in Alta Vald'Era, an area with a high wine vocation. The Estate, which covers 150 hectares of which 16 of vineyards, produces four reds, Sotterfugio, Bulizio, Sagrestano, Gatta ci Cova, two whites, the Viognier de Le Palaie and the Ladra, a rosé, the Rosato de Le Palaie, and finally a rosé bubble, long Charmat method, the Brusio D'era. Eight labels, some doc Terre di Pisa, behind which lies the passion, care and competence of a first-rate staff including the oenologist Andrea Secco, who has followed the path started since the origins of the estate, in search of a sustainable balance between land and vine, an ideal path that today also becomes formal. Inaugurated in 2013, the cellar of Le Palaie, and equipped with a modern vat cellar and an underground barrique cellar for the aging of wines where, arranged in niches between the barriques, some sculptures transform the environment into a real art gallery.
The Cellar is surrounded by the Tuscan hills, a natural setting made of suggestions, scents, colors, which with refined simplicity will make your event unforgettable, whatever it is. The terrace offers a view that goes from the hills of Terre di Pisa to the theater of Silence. We have large outdoor spaces and indoor rooms to offer more organizational solutions. The farmhouse consists of 7 apartments in a restored 17th century farmhouse, and 2 independent houses of various sizes, equipped with all comforts: you will feel at home for the duration of your vacation. It is the ideal starting point to explore famous and important medieval Tuscan cities such as Pisa (45 km), Florence (74 km), Volterra (33 km), San Gimignano (42 km) and Siena (87 km); but also to visit Peccioli and other nearby medieval villages.
