Ladra Orange Wine 2021 IGT Toscana Bianco (OUT OF STOCK)

The grapes used for the production of 'Ladra' wine are Viognier and Procanico. The name derives from the 'theft' of part of the famous Viognier, which represents Le Palaie on an international scale. Ladra is harvested by hand, vinified and aged in earthenware, unfiltered and bottled by gravity. The label features the image of a fox, one of the animals on the estate.

  • ALTITUDE: 300 mt.

  • SENSORY PROFILE: Orange-coloured, Ladra is an orange wine with very complex notes ranging from dried fruit to tobacco. On the palate it is a very viscous wine but at the at the same time very savoury and mineral.

  • VINIFICATION AND AGEING: After careful selection of the grapes, the whole bunches are pressed by hand and placed in earthenware vats. The wine remains in contact with the marc in the in the earthenware vats for about 12 months, after which it is racked and left decanted naturally for bottling.

  • SERVING TEMPERATURE: 12-14°C

  • STORAGE: Store in a cool, dark place.

  • FOOD PAIRING: To be paired with medium-aged cheeses mature cheeses or with white meat dishes if served at a slightly higher temperature.
